We are an enthusiastic team that work together for the good of the school community. One of our aims is to assist the school in providing the necessary equipment to fulfil the best education for the children of William MacGregor Primary School. We are a registered charity (no.1118685). Each term we hold numerous events to appeal to all interests. Previous events include: bingo nights, quiz nights, game show evening, Christmas and summer fayres, discos for the children and raffles.

We are always looking for new members, how ever much you want to get involved. It may be that you have very little time, but lots of good ideas and can just attend 1 meeting a year, or you may have lots of time to help as much as you can with ideas, organising and running events.

We hold meetings once a month during term time. Venues are usually at a public house although we do meet occasionally at the school.  The 'Friends' is an excellent way to meet both fellow parents and get to know the staff in an informal setting.  The dates and venues for the next meeting can be found advertised on the school newsletter, posters and on this site.
