I am a mum of Luke who previously attended William MacGregor and now attends Bishop Vesey in Sutton Coldfield, and I am a step mum to Chloe who is 6. I work for Boots at their head office as Import Compliance Development Manager. My role focuses on projects and ensuring that the company is compliant with HM Revenue and Customs. I meet with a very broad spectrum of employees at Boots, looking at changing processes, so I am used to conversing at all levels. I also represent the company at conferences and network with many other companies and individuals in similar fields of compliance. Julia holds an enhanced DBS check.

I have been a Co-opted Governor since December 2016. I was a primary school teacher in Lichfield and Tamworth for 36 years until my retirement in 2014. For the last part of my career I was Deputy Headteacher and a staff governor at Bird’s Bush Primary school in Belgrave where I worked for a number of years alongside Mrs Norton. I very much hope that my experience in those roles will be of use in helping the governors at William MacGregor to work with the school’s Leadership Team to move the school forward. Dave holds an enhanced DBS check.
I've been a governor since 2012. I'm a mum of 2 and my children have previously attended William MacGregor Primary School. I work as a Customer Relations/Performance Manager in local government. I became a governor to give something back to the school and hopefully the skills I have gained from both my education and work life make a contribution to the work of the governing body. Vicki holds an enhanced DBS check.
I have been on the governing body as a Local Authority Governor since late 2015. I am married to Brad Hardy and am currently working at Tamworth Elim church as the Children’s pastor. I am passionate about children and seeing them developing their sense of purpose and value at this pivotal stage of their lives. I hope to work with the other governors in moving the school forward. Brenda holds an enhanced DBS check.
My name is Natalie Jones and I am the Deputy Headteacher of William MacGregor School. As part of one of my many roles in school, I am an active member of the school’s Governing body committee. I am proud to be part of a wider team all working together in moving the school forward with the best interests of the children at the core of all decision making. Suzie Norton, Head Teacher. I have been on the governing body for 10 years; 4 as a staff governor when I held the post of deputy headteacher in school, and 6 as head teacher. We have a very skilled governing body who work hard to ensure the school remains on an improving journey. I am a mum of 2 daughters; my eldest is 12 and my youngest is 5. I have worked in education since 1995; I spent 12 years teaching at Birds Bush Primary and moved to William MacGregor in 2007. I am very passionate about Tamworth children and strive to ensure they develop both academic ability and key life skills so they can succeed in life.
I have been a member of the governing body since February 2017. I have a daughter, Rosie (Year 2), that attends William MacGregor. I work across three Clinical Commissioning Groups that are responsible for the planning and commissioning of health care services for South Staffordshire. My role is responsible for the development, commissioning and performance of primary care. Since Rosie started school in September 2016 I have really enjoyed learning more about education and the school community. I hope my experience working in healthcare/public sector will be supportive to the governing board and be positive for the future development of the school, pupils, teachers and parents during my term as governor. Andy holds an enhanced DBS check.
